Job summary

The Parsippany Library is seeking a Part Time Custodial Worker to maintain cleanliness at the Main Library and its branches. Under direction, you will perform cleaning tasks to keep the facility in a safe, welcoming condition.

Schedule is Monday-Friday 12pm-4pm with one to two Saturdays per month; compensation ranges from $15.92 to $17.00 per hour, plus paid sick, vacation, holidays, and retirement program eligibility.

Part Time Custodial Worker – Parsippany Library

Summary: The Parsippany Library is seeking a Part Time Custodial Worker to join the Main
Library. Under direction, this position will complete tasks to clean and maintain the facility.
Position may require travel to other library Branches. This position is subject to NJ Civil Service
Regulations.

About the Library: The Parsippany Library serves a population of 56,000 with a Main Library
and two branches. Located in Morris County, NJ, Parsippany is a vibrant and diverse

Supervisor: Head of Customer Service

Compensation: $15.92-$17.00/hour and includes paid sick, vacation, and holidays, and
enrollment in the Defined Contribution Retirement Program (DCRP) if eligible.

Schedule: Monday-Friday 12pm-4pm, one to two Saturdays/month 8:30-4:30pm.
