Country Manor in Sartell, MN is seeking a part-time Cook to lead and support meal preparation for residents. You will manage daily food production, ensure quality standards, and collaborate with the culinary team to provide nutritious, appealing meals.

The role requires independent work, strong time management, and the ability to handle a variety of ingredients. Opportunity to contribute to a caring, community-focused dining program in a long-term care setting.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Experience in long-term care catering is preferred.
• Experience with IDDSI textures/diets is preferred.
• Serv Safe Certification preferred.
• Knowledge of dating/labeling is preferred.
• Knowledge of FIFO and proper storage per Federal/State regulations is preferred.
• Ability to handle various ingredients including pork, chicken, beef, turkey, fruits and vegetables.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills are required.
• Ability to work independently, manage time and station while ensuring quality and timeliness of food.
• Comprehensive knowledge of food production, weights/measures, and recipe calculations.

Responsabilités

• Prepare food in accordance with menus that is attractive, palatable and within guidelines.
• Produce daily food for residents and ensure meal times are met.
• Maintain freezers/coolers/dry storage with FIFO and proper storage.
• Maintain a pleasant work atmosphere for staff.
• Follow infection control and proper cleaning of utensils and equipment.
• Ensure sanitation of prep areas and equipment to standard.
• Be punctual and maintain attendance and confidentiality.
