Job summary

Responsibilities

• Explain examination procedure to patients and prepare patient for exam.
• Review requisition data and perform appropriate CT examination.
• Set up equipment and obtain CT images with proper technique.
• Administer IV contrast media as required.
• Assist Radiologist with complex procedures such as biopsies.
• Ensure imaging quality and patient safety per ALARA principles.
• Complete study indexing in RIS and image management in PACS.
