Job summary

Midstate Radiology Associates is seeking a Part Time CT Technologist for our West Hartford Imaging location. Schedule features two weekdays 4:00 PM–8:00 PM and Sat/Sun 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, with some weekday flexibility. Compensation ranges from $34.00 to $53.06 per hour plus shift differentials.

The role operates CT equipment, performs diagnostic procedures, and follows protocols set by ACR, TJC, OSHA, and hospital policies. Strong patient care and safety focus required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate AMA approved radiology program.
• Registered with ARRT (ARRT).
• CT state license.
• CPR certification may be required.
• Maintenance of continuing education credits as required by licensure.
• ARRT Advanced CT Registry certified (desirable).
• Associates or AS degree in related field.

Responsibilities

• Operates CT equipment and performs diagnostic and therapeutic CT procedures.
• Assists radiologist in complex invasive CT exams.
• Maintain radiation safety and ensure patient and staff safety.
• Document patient and exam information and store images.
• Prepare examinations for interpretation and enter data in RIS and PACS.
• Demonstrates yearly competencies and adheres to policies and procedures.
