Job summary

NewYork-Presbyterian/Lower Manhattan Hospital is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for a part-time role in New York, NY. The CRNA will administer, monitor, and manage patient care before, during, and after anesthesia under the supervision of an Attending Anesthesiologist.

This position offers opportunities to participate in pre-anesthesia assessment, induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia across diverse procedures, including lumbar spine and OB cases.

Qualifications

• Certification of Nurse Anesthetists.
• At least 1 year of experience as a CRNA.
• Current New York State RN license or willingness to obtain.
• BCLS and ACLS certifications.
• DNP/ DNAP preferred over minimum.

Responsibilities

• Administer, monitor and manage patient care before, during and after anesthesia.
• Perform pre-anesthesia assessment and induction, maintenance and emergence with supervision.
• Work under the supervision of an Attending Anesthesiologist.
• Contribute to OB and lumbar spine / diverse surgical cases.
