Job summary

Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) seeks a CRNA to join NYC Health + Hospitals/Jacobi. The role offers a 457-bed Level I Trauma Center with a wide variety of anesthesia cases, including obstetrical, general, regional, emergency, and trauma anesthesia, working with a large team of anesthesiologists and CRNAs.

Responsibilities

• Anesthesiology services include obstetrical, general, and regional anesthesia, plus emergency and trauma cases.
• Respond to calls outside the OR for resuscitation and pain management.
• Pre-operative assessment and evaluation of patients.
• Select anesthetic agents and techniques appropriate to each patient.
• Manage induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia.
• Set up and operate equipment in OR and PACU.
• Respond to airway calls including intubation and cardio-pulmonary resuscitation.
• Maintain anesthetic equipment and daily supplies inventory.

Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is adding a CRNA to the group at NYC Health + Hospitals/Jacobi. Jacobi is a 457-bed, Level I Trauma Center and NCB has 213 licensed beds. • Capable of setting up and using all equipment available in the Operating Room and the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU).
• Responds to calls outside the Operating Room for endotracheal intubation, cardioversions, conscious sedation, and participates in cardio-pulmonary resuscitation.
• Responsible for preparation and daily maintenance and operation of anesthetic equipment.
• Responsible for maintaining an adequate inventory of anesthetic medications and supplies.
