Job summary

California State University, Dominguez Hills (CSUDH) invites applications for a pool of part-time instructors in the College of Continuing and Professional Education Extension Programs. These temporary, non-tenure-track appointments are taught on-site at Dominguez Hills and are filled based on enrollment and funding.

CSUDH values diversity and seeks instructors who can engage students from varied backgrounds and deliver high‑quality credit extension courses.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in the field relevant to the curriculum or related discipline for teaching 300 and 400-level courses.
• Preference given to candidates with prior teaching at college or university level and strong teaching.
• Experience teaching undergraduate and/or graduate students from diverse backgrounds.

Responsibilities

• Teach assigned courses in the College of Continuing and Professional Education’s portfolio of credit extension courses.
• When assigned, serve as Program Coordinators.
