Job summary

Excelsior Orthopaedics in Amherst, NY is seeking a Part-Time Credentialing Specialist to manage credentialing, re-credentialing and privileging for our licensed clinical team. You will ensure providers are properly credentialed with health plans, hospitals, and other facilities, maintain provider data in CAQH and related systems, monitor expiration dates, and prepare credentialing packets as needed.

The role requires 2+ years of credentialing experience, EMR familiarity (Medent/Epic), and

Qualifications

• Associates degree preferred; HS diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Credentialing Specialist or in a similar role.
• Demonstrated knowledge with EMR systems (e.g. Medent, Epic, or similar) is required.
• Computer skills with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
