The ideal candidate holds an active CPA license with at least 3 years of accounting experience, strong GAAP knowledge, and proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel. This position may transition to full-time based on business needs and performance.

Qualifications

• Active CPA license is required.
• Minimum 3 years professional accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting.
• Experience with QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with account reconciliation and general ledger management.
• Ability to identify and resolve accounting discrepancies.
• Ability to work independently in a startup environment.

Responsabilités

• Review, organize, and update existing accounting records.
• Assist with outstanding bookkeeping tasks.
• Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and general ledger accounts.
• Prepare and review financial statements and reports.
• Identify and correct accounting discrepancies.
• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Support tax preparation and compliance requirements.
• Evaluate and improve accounting procedures and controls.
