Becoming a Court Security Officer for the Lake County Sheriff’s Office means becoming involved with a team that provides safety and security for all occupants, employees and visitors, working and visiting the Lake County Government Complex and the 19th Judicial Circuit facilities. This position may be rotated within different locations in the Lake County Court System including locations in Waukegan, Park City, Mundelein, Round Lake Beach and Vernon Hills. Court Officers are members of the Teamster Local 700 Union.
Any offer of employment is conditioned on the successful completion of a background screening, drug screening, and may include a pre-employment medical exam.
