Job summary

Sevita’s NeuroRestorative division is seeking a part-time Counselor LCPC/LPC to provide counseling to individuals and families in our Maine Standish location. The role involves collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team to plan treatment and monitor progress.

Strong licensure and a master’s degree in a human services field are required. Responsibilities include completing daily billing summaries, submitting program documentation, and participating in in-house trainings.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a human services field.
• LCPC/LPC or equivalent licensure required.
• Experience delivering individual and family counseling using multiple therapeutic approaches.
• Ability to work with a trans-disciplinary treatment team.

• Provides counseling to individuals and/or families using multiple forms of therapeutic approaches, including psycho-educational models and medical/illness models of assessment and diagnosis.
• May also help with job and vocational concerns or parenting.
• Provides individual counseling and support services and family psychotherapy as appropriate to training and program participant needs.
• Participates in treatment planning with a trans-disciplinary team.
• Submits service summaries and billing slips for each program participant served, indicating objectives, strategies, and outcomes obtained.
• Completes daily billing summaries and turns them in to appropriate staff.
• Attends CCS in-house seminars as scheduled and/or appropriate.
• Provides appropriate supervision and in-house activities for program participants as needed.
• Master's degree in a human services field
• Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations:~ LCPC / LPC or similar licensure required.
