Job summary

Athens, Alabama SNF position for a Part-Time (15-25 hours/week) COTA/L to support the Rehabilitation Team. The role works under the supervision of the Registered Occupational Therapist (OTR) to assist patients of all ages with physical and psychosocial needs.

Responsibilities include helping plan therapy, maintain records, prepare treatment areas, and assist with splinting and equipment. AOTA-approved education and current certification are required.

Qualifications

• COTA with current certification from the American Occupational Therapy Association.
• Completed an AOTA-approved OT curriculum.
• Eligible to work as COTA/L per state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning therapy programs for all patients.
• Evaluate response and record data under supervision of the OTR.
• Prepare and fit splints for functional and non-functional upper and lower extremities as ordered.
• Assist in in-service education programs.
• Prepare treatment area for therapy sessions.
