Job summary

All Heart Home Care in Murfreesboro, TN is seeking a part-time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our home health team under the supervision of a licensed OT.

You will provide skilled OT services in patients' homes, help improve ADLs, mobility, safety, and quality of life, while maintaining HIPAA and accurate documentation.

This role requires travel throughout the service area, an Tennessee COTA license, CPR/BLS, and a compassionate, patient-centered approach.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited OTA program.
• Current Tennessee COTA license.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to travel throughout Murfreesboro service area.

Responsibilities

• Implement treatment plans under supervising OT.
• Provide OT interventions to improve ADLs, mobility, strength, balance, and coordination.
• Educate patients and caregivers on exercises, adaptive equipment, and home safety techniques.
• Monitor progress and communicate outcomes to the supervising OT.
• Complete accurate clinical documentation and maintain HIPAA compliance.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, and other team members.
