Job summary

All Heart Home Care in Murfreesboro, TN is seeking a compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for a part-time role. Under supervision of an OT, you will deliver skilled therapy in patients' homes to improve ADLs, mobility, balance, and safety.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Current Tennessee license as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA).
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and current automobile insurance.
• Ability to travel throughout the Murfreesboro service area.

Responsibilities

• Implement individualized treatment plans developed by the supervising Occupational Therapist.
• Provide occupational therapy interventions to improve ADLs, functional mobility, strength, coordination, balance, and fine motor skills.
• Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic exercises, adaptive equipment, home safety techniques, and strategies that promote independence.
• Monitor patient progress and communicate treatment outcomes, concerns, and changes in condition to the supervising Occupational Therapist.
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals to support positive patient outcomes.
• Participate in case conferences, team meetings, and continuing education activities as needed.
• Follow all applicable federal, state, and local regulations and professional standards.
