Job summary

Lamar State College-Orange is seeking part-time Workforce Instructors to teach at Texas Correctional and Juvenile Justice facilities. Candidates must possess at least an Associate degree in the teaching discipline or relevant licensure, along with good time management skills. Qualifications

• Possess good time management skills.
• Experience teaching in higher education is preferred.
• Knowledge of teaching methodologies/pedagogical strategies.

Responsibilities

• Teach pre-service and in-service courses at correctional and juvenile justice facilities.
• Provide student feedback and respond to communications in a timely manner.
• Attend adjunct faculty meetings as requested.
• Complete required training such as Title IX Training.
• Assess courses on departmental and institutional levels.
