Encore Parkside is seeking a Part Time Cook to support daily kitchen operations. The role requires strict adherence to sanitation and food handling protocols, preparation according to recipes, and careful documentation of temperature charts in line with HACCP guidelines.

The cook will contribute to menu development with the Sous Chef/Manager and ensure timely production distribution. Strong communication, attention to detail, and ability to follow written instructions are essential, with

Knowledge of batch cooking and general use of standardized recipes.
Knowledge of sanitation, food borne illness, and cross-contamination policies and procedures.
Ability to follow written instructions with accuracy.

Adherence to all sanitation and food handling protocols.
Preparation of food in accordance with sanitary regulations and departmental policies.
Assurance that food is prepared in accordance with standardized recipes and special diet orders.
Maintenance of all temperature charts and HACCP records.
Distribution of production on time and quantity.
Maintains safe and secure work environment; uses safety devices.
Develops new menu items and recipes in coordination with Sous Chef/Manager.
Notify Sous Chef/Manager of inventory requirements in a timely fashion.
Assist in direction of kitchen staff.
Maintain confidentiality of resident information and staff records.
Ensure dietary procedures are followed per policies.
Adhere to all Encore Village safety policies and regulatory requirements.
Maintain proper personal appearance and hygiene.
