Overview

We have an AWESOME opportunity for an Experienced GRILL COOK who is passionate about food! Join an incredible and creative Culinary Team who at The Coach House – a long-standing restaurant located in Hamilton, OH. We are committed to proving a upscale casual dining experience for the greater Hamilton community, as well as residents who live on our Berkeley Square Campus. The restaurant is open Wednesday through Saturday, with flexible scheduling available between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m.

Compensation
$14-$17/HR, based on experience.
Schedule
Must be willing to work split shift (20 to 30 hours per week)
Wednesday through Saturday between the hours of 10am and 10pm.
Sundays and Holidays - May be required

Responsibilities

  • Cooks efficiently, working calmly and quickly with a presence of mind
  • Maintains food quality and standards
  • Demonstrates consistent attendance and punctuality
  • Keeps their stations clean and well stocked
  • Maintains the cleanliness and safety of the kitchen
  • All other duties as assigned and/or appropriate to the position.


Qualifications

Education: High School Diploma or GED preferred

Licenses or other required certifications:

Experience: One to two year experience required

Specialized knowledge, skills, or abilities:

  • Competent cooking skills and ability to follow recipes
  • An interest in learning and the ability to quickly grasp new knowledge
  • The ability to use ingredients in the right proportion and be aware of the exact procedure of food preparation
  • The ability to garnish food following specific plating desired by the chef
  • Knowledge of food safety, safe food processing and preserving raw food
  • Patience and a love for cooking
