Job summary

Cascade Inn in Vancouver seeks a part-time Cook to join our Culinary Department. Earn $19–$22/hour depending on experience, with multiple shifts including on-call coverage from 11AM–7PM and 7:30AM–1:30PM.

Qualifications

• ServSafe Food Handler's certificate or Dietary Manager's Course required; if not present, certificate within the first 30 days of employment.
• All state food handler requirements must be met.
• Knowledge of food preparation, production and plate presentation.
• Drug-free and must pass a drug screening upon hire and as required by state regulations.
• Knowledge of special dietary needs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve meals per the menu and schedule.
• Properly store, date, and rotate food per guidelines.
• Keep the kitchen environment safe and clean.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
