Homestead of Leavenworth in Kansas is seeking a part-time cook to round out our kitchen staff under the supervision of the community's Dietary Managers.

You will prepare various foods according to menu, recipe and diet breakdowns, ensure top food quality, sanitation, and timely service, and maintain a steady pace to serve meals on time.

Qualifications

• Experience with food preparation and following menus/diet requirements is a plus.
• Ability to maintain high sanitation standards and food quality.
• Able to work in a fast-paced kitchen and meet meal deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Prepares various foods depending on menu, recipe, and diet breakdowns for each meal.
• Ensures delivery of optimal food quality, timely service, as well as high sanitation standards.
• Must be able to work at a constant pace to ensure that food is prepared and served on time for each meal of the day.
