Job summary

Mission Health Communities in Haviland, Kansas is seeking a part-time Cook to join our caring team. You will prepare meals for residents, ensure safety and quality, and help maintain a clean kitchen in a supportive health care setting.

Qualifications

• Must be able to perform basic arithmetic, understand measurements and follow written and oral instructions.
• Cook experience preferred but not required; willingness to learn.
• Solid communication skills, attention to detail and multi-tasking abilities.
• Ability to read, write and speak English sufficient for interactions with residents and staff.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals for residents in accordance with regulatory guidelines.
• Ensure quality and safe food temperatures with attention to sanitation.
• Maintain safe, clean kitchen and follow company policies and procedures.
• Provide friendly customer service and build rapport with residents and families.
