Ideal candidates have previous cooking experience in healthcare or senior living, strong sanitation knowledge, and the ability to follow production schedules with attention to detail.

Aufgaben

• Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes, menus, and production schedules.
• Ensure meals are prepared on time and meet quality and presentation standards.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, infection-control, and kitchen safety requirements.
• Prepare meals that accommodate residents’ dietary needs, restrictions, and preferences.
• Review menus and production sheets before meal preparation.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen.
• Label, date, rotate, and store food and ingredients.
• Monitor food temperatures and complete required documentation.
• Assist with receiving, storing, and maintaining food supplies.
• Monitor inventory and notify supervisor when supplies are needed.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and properly.
• Work closely with Dining Services staff to support smooth meal service.
• Assist with special events, holiday meals, and resident programs as needed.
• Complete additional kitchen and food service duties as assigned.
