Job summary

Legend Senior Living is seeking a part-time Cook in Florida to join our culinary team. You will prepare fresh meals from scratch and support nourishing dining experiences for residents, using high-quality ingredients to uphold Gold Leaf Dining standards.

No late nights and a balanced schedule are offered, with opportunities for recognition through annual evaluations and team rewards. The role emphasizes safety, cleanliness, and exceptional resident service.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a commercial restaurant.
• Ability to provide the highest level of culinary service and professional interaction to residents and associates.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment, be organized, flexible, and self-motivated.

Responsibilities

• Providing hands-on assistance with dietary needs and fulfilling special meal requests.
• Preparing meals from the menu plan and assisting with the service of meals.
• Maintaining cleanliness of production and service areas.
• Inspecting work, storage, preparation, and service areas to meet food service standards and regulations.
• Following safe work procedures to include injury prevention, food safety, and infection control.
• Properly labeling and dating all food in the refrigerator, freezer, and dry storage.
