Job summary

Stellar Senior Living in Bountiful, UT is seeking a dedicated Part-Time Cook to join our team and prepare high-quality meals in a fast-paced environment. You will contribute to resident satisfaction by delivering nutritious dishes while following health and safety standards.

The role offers a competitive wage based on experience, part-time hours, and opportunities for advancement. Free meals per shift and on-demand pay are also provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar position.
• Experience and/or knowledge of special diets, meal preparation for large groups preferred.
• Safe food handling techniques are required.
• Ability to read and understand recipes.
• Work in a team environment.
• Work flexible shifts.
• Handle multiple tasks at one time and communicate effectively verbally and/or in writing.

Responsibilities

• Assists in maintaining a well-organized and efficient food service department.
• Demonstrates a complete understanding of all basic food production skill sets with the ability to perform these error-free and meet the company quality standards.

Job Description

Our cooks prepare high-quality meals in accordance with food health and safety regulations and company standards. To be a successful cook, you will need to be quick and diligent, able to follow instructions, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
