Job summary

Qualifications

• Demonstrated proficiency in spoken and written Spanish and English.
• Relevant professional experience using Spanish in education, training, business, or community settings.
• Ability to communicate clearly and facilitate conversation for beginning adult learners.
• Ability to use or learn Blackboard or another learning management system.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Teach conversational Spanish courses with practical activities for adult learners.
• Develop instruction emphasizing speaking, listening, pronunciation, and vocabulary.
• Incorporate cultural context into language instruction.
