Job summary

The Eckerd Connects Denison Job Corps Center seeks a part-time Construction Trades Substitute Instructor to support class sessions and maintain discipline and student motivation. On-call up to 29 hours weekly, you’ll present instruction in designated subject areas and help students progress toward completion of their training.

Responsibilities

• Instructs in designated Construction Trades subject areas in a regular classroom.
• Promotes a positive classroom atmosphere to maximize student motivation.
• Maintains a high level of classroom discipline to maximize learning.
• Maintains student personnel folders and records attendance daily.
• Records and forwards daily attendance to Student Records.
