Job summary

City of Myrtle Beach, SC seeks a part-time Parking & Concierge Services Representative to provide hospitality and security during events, manage parking operations, assist visitors, and help ensure a safe environment at the convention center.

You will respond to patron questions, enforce policies, monitor access, and support front desk duties as assigned. Requires a high school diploma, valid driver’s license, and the ability to stand long hours with flexible hours including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Ability to communicate professionally with patrons, guests and staff.
• Willingness to stand for long periods and work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Inform and enforce facility policies to patrons and vendors.
• Assist with crowd control during events and tradeshows.
• Provide hospitality and security, give directions and information to visitors and clients.
• Monitor access to the convention center and assist with front desk duties when needed.
• Maintain basic incident reports and assist in emergency situations.
