Job summary

Legends Global is seeking a Concessions Lead to support concessions, vending, portable, and in-seat service operations at Mayo Civic Center in Rochester, MN. You will assist in staffing, training, and supervising event staff while ensuring service standards and compliance with alcohol policies.

You will manage inventory, coordinate with teams, and uphold sanitation and product quality. The role requires flexibility for extended hours, nights, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced venue setting.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Fluent in English.
• Able to lift 10–30 pounds, occasionally 50 pounds.
• Able to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• High school diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.

Responsibilities

• Staffing, scheduling, training, and counseling of event staff.
• Directly manage event day staff and interact with customers.
• Maintain and control high-volume food and beverage inventory.
• Train and enforce responsible alcohol service and compliance.
• Develop and enforce standards for service, sanitation, and product quality.
• Ensure cash/alcohol handling procedures are documented and followed.
• Coordinate with team to meet service standards and inventory control.
• Conduct inventory audits and research/reconcile discrepancies.

THE ROLE

The Concessions Lead position is responsible for supporting all concessions, vending, portable, and in-seat service operations for Legends Hospitality.

Essential Functions

• Assist in staffing, scheduling, training, and counseling of event staff.
• Directly manage event day staff while having direct interaction with customers.
• Maintain and control high volume food and beverage inventory.
• Train, educate, and enforce responsible service of alcoholic beverages and evaluate compliance within corporate procedures.
• Develop and enforce standards for service, sanitation, and product and food quality.
• Ensure all cash/alcohol handling procedures are documented and enforced.
• Ability to interact with co-workers in order to assure compliance with company service standards, inventory, and cash control procedures.
• Conduct physical audit of inventory and product, research and perform reconciliations.

Qualifications

• All applicants must be at least 18 years of age

• Ability to multi task in a fast paced, team orientated setting.
• Must be able to work fluently in English
• Ability to work in an open aired environment during all climate conditions.
• Ability to lift and carry items weighing 10-30 pounds, occasionally 50 pounds, up and down stairs/ramps.
• Ability to work extended hours, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Must have sufficient mobility to perform assigned production tasks including: constant reaching, bending, stooping, wiping, pushing, and pulling for extended periods of time
• Must meet state and local health requirements for food handlers and alcoholic beverage services.
• High school diploma or equivalent. Some college preferred
• Practice safe work habits, follow all safety policies and procedures and regulations, complete company-wide safety training and any additional job specific safety training.

Compensation

Hourly Rate of $20 - $25 commensurate with experience.
