Job summary

Community Resource Network of Florida is seeking a caregiver to provide companionship, transportation, and supervision for a young male with I/DD in community settings. The role is offered as an independent contractor with a pay rate of $16.00 per hour and a 12-hour weekly schedule.

Ideal candidates are positive, patient, compassionate, and dependable, with at least 1 year of caregiving experience or relevant training. A valid driver’s license and background screening are required.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license.
• Provide proven 1 year of caregiving experience or technical training.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Encouraging and supporting the individual during home activities
• Assisting with personal hygiene tasks
• Meal preparation and light cleaning
• Ensuring individual's safety and maintaining a safe living environment
• Facilitate community involvement by accompanying individual to social events and outings
• Promote communication, choice, independence, and socialization
• Complete daily progress notes
