Job summary

Community Resource Network of Florida is seeking a compassionate caregiver for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This role is part-time and independent contractor based, requiring a positive outlook and compassion.

Your responsibilities will include supporting the individual in daily activities, assisting with personal care, and promoting community involvement. Qualifications include valid driver's license and at least one year of caregiving experience. The job offers $16.00 hourly pay.

Qualifications

• Must be able to pass Local and Level 2 Background Screening.
• Provide proven 1 year of caregiving experience or technical training.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Encouraging and supporting the individual during home activities.
• Assisting with personal hygiene tasks.
• Meal preparation and light cleaning.
• Ensuring individual's safety and maintaining a safe living environment.
• Facilitate community involvement by accompanying individual to social events.
• Promote communication, choice, independence, and socialization.
• Complete daily progress notes.
