Job summary

City of Hallandale Beach seeks part-time passenger van drivers to transport program participants to and from residential, medical, social, school, and childcare facilities. CDL-passenger endorsement drivers will operate ADA vehicles as needed.

• High school diploma or GED required; at least one year of licensed passenger transport driving experience preferred.
• Must have National Incident Management System (NIMS) certification or obtain within one year of employment.
• Must hold a valid Florida driver's license with a clean driving record; CPR and basic first aid training or ability to obtain within three months.

Responsibilities

• Operate non-CDL and CDL-passenger vehicles to transport participants to and from various locations.
• Work under general supervision with limited latitude for initiative and independent judgment.
• Maintain safety, compliance, and passenger safety during transportation.
