Job summary

Cadient, LLC seeks a Part-time Community Habilitation Specialist in Catskill, NY to provide one-to-one training in daily living and community integration for children and adults with IDD, in home and community settings.

Responsibilities include teaching self-care, banking, fitness and other independence skills, with a flexible schedule including after-school hours and weekends. Starting hourly pay ranges from $20.55 to $22.61.

Qualifications

• Experience working with individuals with IDD is helpful.
• Ability to teach daily living and community integration skills.
• Comfort with 1:1 support in home and community settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one support teaching daily living skills in homes and community settings.
• Assist with personal hygiene, banking, physical fitness and other independence tasks.
• Support clients to achieve the highest level of independence possible.
• Maintain flexibility with hours, including after-school, evenings and weekends.
