Job summary

Cadient, LLC seeks a Part-time Community Habilitation Specialist in Catskill, NY to provide one-to-one training in daily living and community integration for children and adults with IDD, in home and community settings.

Responsibilities include teaching self-care, banking, fitness and other independence skills, with a flexible schedule including after-school hours and weekends. Starting hourly pay ranges from $20.55 to $22.61.

Part-time Community Habilitation Specialist - Catskill

We are seeking caring individuals for rewarding part-time, one-to-one positions, teaching daily living and community integration skills to children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

The Community Habilitation Specialist provides support and skills trainingto individualsin their homes and also in community settings.

Staff will provide 1:1 assistance with everyday living skills (including but not limited to personal hygiene, banking skills, physical fitness, etc),to maintain or to develop the highest level of independence possible for them.

The staffwho work for Community Habilitation should be flexible and self-motivated. Time management skills are definitely important in this positionwhich requires a great deal of independence.

Day hours, after-school, early evening and weekend hours are available for Community Habilitation.

HOURS:6 hours per week

STARTING SALARY: $ 20.55 to $ 22.61 per hour, with additional shift differentials as applicable
