Qualifications
One (1) year of security experience or a structured security training program.
One (1) year of customer service experience.
Guard card preferred.
Experience or training in de-escalation.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Responsibilities
Patrol the exterior and interior of the campus to ensure the property is safe and secure.
Respond to and address suspicious circumstances using non-violent crisis intervention.
Answer phones, screen calls, and take messages.
Greet visitors and assist residents, vendors, and guests.
Prepare a daily security report and log security concerns.
Conduct safety inspections, including fire drills and lighting inspections.
