Job summary

A community service provider in Seattle is seeking a dedicated Security Officer for part-time positions. The role includes maintaining a safe environment, responding to service requests, and conducting patrols. Ideal candidates will have experience in security and customer service, along with excellent communication skills. A guard card is preferred. Qualifications

• One (1) year of security experience or a structured security training program.
• One (1) year of customer service experience.
• Guard card preferred.
• Experience or training in de-escalation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Patrol the exterior and interior of the campus to ensure the property is safe and secure.
• Respond to and address suspicious circumstances using non-violent crisis intervention.
• Answer phones, screen calls, and take messages.
• Greet visitors and assist residents, vendors, and guests.
• Prepare a daily security report and log security concerns.
• Conduct safety inspections, including fire drills and lighting inspections.
