Job summary

Minnich's Pharmacy in York, PA, seeks a Part-time Community Pharmacy Clerk to assist the Community Pharmacy team with direct customer service and prescription-related tasks. The role involves cashier duties, basic pharmacy software use, and a focus on community health involvement.

You will work Monday through Friday, 2PM to 8PM, assisting customers, processing payments, and supporting stock and cleanliness in the pharmacy area while maintaining HIPAA compliance and excellent service standards.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Currently enrolled in high school or have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Outlook.
• Able to pass a comprehensive background check and pre-employment drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality customer service.
• Greet customers when entering and leaving the store.
• Run the point of sales system.
• Look up and interpret prescription status in the pharmacy software.
• Multitask and stay organized while assisting customers.
• Answer the phone and manage payments at the register.
• Maintain HIPAA-compliant handling of information.
• Assist in restocking shelves and keeping the area tidy.
• Support community health activities when needed.
