Job summary

Minnich's Pharmacy in York, PA is seeking a Community Pharmacy Technician to support the pharmacist, ensuring safe, accurate, and friendly service. The role helps manage daily operations and delivers an excellent patient experience, with training provided.

The position is full-time with Mon-Fri 10am-7pm and weekend rotation, offering benefits such as health/dental insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off. HR will assist with PA registration.

Qualifications

• Pharmacy Technician certification (preferred).
• Previous pharmacy or retail experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist with prescription preparation, data entry, labeling, and processing.
• Receive and input new prescriptions and refill requests.
• Provide courteous customer service in person and over the phone.
• Process transactions and handle cash register/POS operations.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with all pharmacy regulations.
• Manage inventory, restock shelves, and monitor medication supplies.
• Coordinate with insurance providers to resolve billing issues.
• Keep the pharmacy clean, organized, and well-stocked.
