Job summary

Girl Scouts of San Jacinto Council is seeking a Part-Time Community Outreach Associate to support programs in Richmond/Rosenberg and surrounding areas. You will present the InspireMe curriculum to elementary girls and help coordinate activities across schools in the Greater Houston region.

The role emphasizes flexibility, reliability, and the ability to travel within the assigned area, with a focus on community engagement and hands-on activities in a nonprofit setting.

Qualifications

• Dependable, enthusiastic, and energetic.
• Available 2–4 days a week; 7:00 AM–5:00 PM; 2 camp weekend events (overnight possible).
• Skilled at presenting to groups of elementary girls in school settings.
• Transport supplies to the Girl Scout office; may lift >25 pounds.
• Team player; prior youth work preferred; prior Girl Scout experience helpful.
• Bilingual English/Spanish desirable but not required.
• High school graduate minimum; some college or degree preferred.
• Valid Texas driver’s license and proof of insurance; travel within area.
• Work from home with reliable internet and a distraction-free space.

Responsibilities

• Bilingual (English/Spanish). This is highly desirable but not required.
• A high school graduate minimum is required, some college or degree preferred.
• AholderofavalidTexasdriver’slicenseandproofofinsurancewiththeflexibilitytotravel throughout assigned area.
• Ability to work from home, as needed, to include high speed home internet access and accessibility to a non-distractinganduninterruptedspacewithadequatelightingandergonomicallyadequatework-space.
