Tutor Doctor North County San Diego is seeking an energetic Community Marketing Ambassador to support local outreach across the Northern San Diego region, focusing on La Jolla and Del Mar. This flexible, part-time role suits someone who enjoys outdoors, works independently, and engages families directly in their neighborhoods.

You'll walk neighborhoods, introduce Tutor Doctor, collect permissions for lawn signs, and build awareness through friendly community interactions.

Job description

Tutor Doctor is looking for an energetic and personable Community Marketing Ambassador to support local outreach efforts throughout the Northern San Diego region, specifically in and around the La Jolla and Del Mar communities. In this role, you'll help increase awareness of our tutoring services by connecting with families directly in their neighborhoods. This is a flexible, part-time position ideal for someone who enjoys being outdoors, working independently, and engaging with people in a meaningful way.

Pay: $20-$25/hour + potential bonus opportunities

Hours: 5-10 hours per week with flexible scheduling

Key Responsibilities

Local Outreach

• Walk neighborhoods throughout the La Jolla and Del Mar areas
• Introduce Tutor Doctor to families in a friendly, approachable way
• Request permission to place lawn signs in visible areas on their private property
• Represent the brand respectfully within the community

Community Engagement

• Act as a positive, professional face of Tutor Doctor
• Provide basic information about tutoring services
• Help build awareness and trust with local families

Tracking & Reporting

• Log outreach activity and sign placements
• Keep accurate records of homeowner permissions
