Job summary

Tutor Doctor is seeking a Community Marketing Ambassador to support local outreach in the Conejo Valley (Thousand Oaks and surrounding areas) and Simi Valley. The role is part-time and outdoors-friendly, focusing on engaging with families and increasing awareness of tutoring services.

Pay ranges from $20 to $25 per hour with potential bonuses. Hours are 5–15 per week (up to 15) with flexible scheduling to fit student or early-career plans.

• Log outreach activity and sign placements accurately.
• Share insights and feedback from the field with the team.

Job description

Tutor Doctor is looking for an energetic and personable Community Marketing Ambassador to support local outreach efforts throughout the Conejo Valley (Thousand Oaks and surrounding communities) and Simi Valley. In this role, you'll help increase awareness of our tutoring services by connecting with families directly in their neighborhoods. This is a flexible, part-time position ideal for someone who enjoys being outdoors, working independently, and engaging with people in a meaningful way.

Pay: $20–$25/hour + potential bonus opportunities
Hours: 5–15 hours per week with a goal of 15 hours per week with flexible scheduling

Key Responsibilities

Local Outreach

• Walk neighborhoods throughout the Conejo Valley and Simi Valley
• Introduce Tutor Doctor to families in a friendly, approachable way

• Represent the brand respectfully within the community

Community Engagement

• Act as a positive, professional face of Tutor Doctor
• Provide basic information about tutoring services
• Help build awareness and trust with local families

Tracking & Reporting
