Job summary

ALULA is seeking a Community Living Direct Support Professional to assist individuals with disabilities in homes and in the community. This is a PT position with as-needed working hours in North Carolina.

You will provide hands-on support, supervise and train residents, helping them build daily living, social, communication, adaptive, and vocational skills while encouraging independence and participation in community activities. A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School diploma or GED.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance information.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on support to residents in homes and communities.
• Develop daily living, social, communication, adaptive, and vocational skills.
• Support residents in achieving personal goals and documenting progress.
• Assist with transportation to work, appointments, activities, and community events.
• Maintain confidentiality and follow ALULA policies and training requirements.
