Job summary

GMH Communities in Champaign, IL seeks a part-time Community/Leasing Assistant to support leasing, resident relations, and daily property operations.

You will handle leases, walk-ins, calls, emails, and coordinate events while maintaining exceptional customer service and compliance with Fair Housing laws.

This role reports to the Leasing Manager and offers a friendly team environment with flexible scheduling in a dynamic student housing setting.

Qualifications

• Outgoing, kind and generous personality with a service mindset.
• Strong communication via in-person, phone, email.
• Ability to manage resident relations and inquiries.
• Proficient with standard office software and property management basics.

Responsibilities

• Maintain positive resident relations through outstanding service.
• Participate in the daily operations of the property.
• Process leases and accompanying paperwork.
• Displaying high levels of service through email responses, social media outreach and phone communications.
• Assist with leasing events and activities.
• Participate in resident retention events and activities.
• Actively participate in the GMHgo initiative.
• Participate in after-hours on-call rotation.
