Job summary

Mains’l Services is seeking a Job Coaching Specialist to empower individuals through community internships and employment in Chico, CA. The role is part-time (10–25 hours per week) with pay at $19.25–$20.50 per hour and a focus on inclusive, professional support.

You will train and mentor learners, coordinate with community partners, and guide individuals in developing workplace relationships and boundaries. A compassionate, communicative approach is essential.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old.
• Ability to pass DOJ background check.
• Safe and reliable transportation with a valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
• Ability to pass a driving record check.
• TB (Tuberculosis) skin test.

Responsibilities

• Providing guidance, support, and training to individuals during community internships or employment.
• Assist with resume writing, job search strategies, interview preparation, and on-the-job-training.
• Support individuals with learning and navigating professional boundaries and relationships.
• Support staff with job coach training.
• Act as a liaison between community business partners and Mains’l through coaching and inclusive training.
