Job summary

Apartment Life in Phoenix is seeking an Events and Ministry Coordinator to work onsite in a part-time capacity. You will plan monthly resident events, build community ties, and coordinate volunteers and vendors to enhance resident experiences.

The role requires evening and weekend availability, a valid driver's license, and the ability to lift up to 25 pounds. Compensation is $20 per hour, with 16 hours per month dedicated to a single community near Grayhawk Golf Club.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Be legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Have basic fluency in English to compose marketing elements for the community and required reports for the property management company.
• Possess a current driver's license and liability insurance, and access to reliable transportation for duties.
• Be physically able to use stairs, bend, sit, stand, stoop, and carry up to 25 pounds.
• Availability to commit weekly hours, mainly in the evenings and weekends when residents are home.
• Be able to make the minimum term commitment to serving in the apartment community.

Responsibilities

• Plan and host 1 event each month for residents to care for and connect with them and local services.
• Provide a caring touch to residents and staff with support from volunteers and partners.
• Enhance online reputation by inviting residents to share experiences online.
• Develop marketing materials such as monthly calendars, event flyers, and social posts.
• Manage the event budget process.
• Prepare monthly summaries.
• Meet with staff and program director for planning, equipping, and development.
• Engage a support team of volunteers, vendors, and community partners to maximize impact.
• Visit new residents after move-in and those near lease end to connect with them.
