Job summary

Jewish Graduate Organization (JGO) in New York is seeking a Part-Time Engagement & Program Coordinator to support the townhouse and grow JGO’s NYC community. You’ll welcome students, build relationships, coordinate events, and help recruit participants for key programs.

The ideal candidate is warm, organized, and enjoy hands-on, community-building work with evenings a few nights per week. This role offers growth opportunities within JGO.

Responsibilities

• Build genuine relationships with Jewish graduate students who participate in JGO programs and use the townhouse.
• Welcome students and proactively introduce yourself, start conversations, and help them feel comfortable.
• Get to know students and connect them to relevant programs, opportunities, and staff.
• Maintain ongoing relationships with students through follow-up and invitations to future programs.
• Spearhead recruitment and outreach for several large events for young professionals in NYC.
• Help prepare the townhouse for programs, set up materials, and coordinate food and supplies.
• Support events and programming, troubleshoot logistics, and assist with outreach.
