Scientific Adventures for Girls (SAfG) is seeking a Communications Coordinator to tell our STEM equity story from Berkeley. This part‑time, hourly role will drive social content, newsletters, donor communications, and on‑site event storytelling, reporting to the Director of Development and Communications.
Work a hybrid schedule, 15–20 hours per week, with in‑office presence three days and occasional local travel to connect with partners and events.
Scientific Adventures for Girls (SAfG) is on a mission to close the STEM gender gap — one hands‑on science class, one confident girl at a time. We're looking for a creative, detail-driven Communications Coordinator to help us tell that story to the world.

The Communications Coordinator position is part‑time, hourly, non‑exempt. This role reports directly to the Director of Development and Communication's and plays a central part in communications and marketing.
You'll join a small, passionate team doing big things — work that directly expands opportunity for girls in underserved East Bay communities. This is a chance to see your storytelling turn into real impact: more girls in STEM classrooms, more donors invested in the mission, more community partners at the table.
