Job summary

New Mexico Piñon Coffee is seeking a Commissory Production & Delivery Associate (Part-Time) to support our commissary and deliver to café locations in the Albuquerque area. You will prepare, assemble, package, label food products, and ensure they meet quality and safety standards while keeping the production area clean and organized.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year of commercial food production experience, a Food Handler's Permit or ability to obtain one in 30 days, a valid driver’s license, and

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Reliable transportation and proof of personal auto insurance.
• Comfortable driving a company delivery van in Albuquerque.
• Commercial food production experience (1+ year).
• Food Handler's Permit (or ability to obtain within 30 days).
• Ability to follow written/verbal instructions and recipes.
• Basic computer skills, including Excel.
• Strong math skills for recipe measurements and inventory.
• Self-motivated, dependable, and team-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, assemble, package, and label food products according to standards.
• Follow production procedures, recipes, and quality guidelines.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment per ServSafe standards.
• Inspect products throughout production for quality and consistency.
• Stock, organize, and rotate inventory using FIFO practices.
• Operate production equipment safely and in accordance with PPE.
• Assist with training team members on production processes.
• Load, transport, and deliver food products to NM Piñon Coffee House locations using a company van.
• Unload deliveries and communicate professionally with café teams for timely deliveries.
• Support other commissary operations and projects as assigned.
