Job summary

TurnKey Corrections is seeking a dependable and self-motivated Part-Time Commissary & Facility Support Associate to assist daily operations at Jackson County Detention Center in Kansas City, Missouri.

The role includes commissary distribution, warehouse tasks, customer service, and basic equipment troubleshooting. A background check is required and on-site storage is provided. You will work both independently and with a small team in a secure facility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• One year warehouse/inventory or related experience (preferred).
• Basic computer knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Distribute commissary products to detainees per procedures.
• Respond to detainee inquiries and issues related to commissary operations.
• Receive and organize deliveries.
• Perform general warehouse duties and order preparation.
• Complete basic computer-based tasks and data entry.
• Troubleshoot and assist with maintenance of on-site equipment (computers, network hubs, kiosks, vending).
• Navigate multiple software platforms and company systems.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
