Job summary

Study Smart Tutors in the San Francisco Bay Area is seeking tutors with a completed 4-year degree and teaching or tutoring experience. In-person availability is required, and candidates must complete a background check, which may include fingerprinting by location.

You will facilitate classes, support students, adapt to new materials, and collaborate with Study Smart Tutor’s Education team to deliver effective learning strategies.

Qualifications

• MUST hold a completed 4-year degree.
• Teaching or tutoring experience is required.
• In-person availability is required.
• Background check may include fingerprinting depending on location.

Responsibilities

• Subjects to be taught: College Workshop.
• Provide facilitation support to large groups of students within a classroom setting.
• Facilitators will have access to information about class assignments.
• Adapt to new materials and teaching strategies.
• Maintain consistent communication with Study Smart Tutors staff.
• Partner with Study Smart Tutor’s Education team to provide comprehensive learning strategies to all students.
