Qualifications
Master's degree in a related field with 18 credit hours in one of the aforementioned content areas.
Teaching certification/teaching endorsement in content area.
Post secondary teaching experience.
Responsibilities
Plan, organize and communicate instruction in ways that encourage and stimulate student learning.
Employ appropriate teaching and learning strategies that facilitate and promote student success.
Prepare, distribute and submit syllabi for all assigned sections in accordance with college and university policies.
Evaluate and return student work in a timely manner and maintain accurate records of student attendance and progress.
Submit immediate alerts in EAB when students are at risk.
Submit mid-term and final grade reports by the set University deadlines as well as completed course assessment forms at the end of each semester.
Maintain professionalism and confidentiality in regard to student interaction and information.
Comply with all university academic policies.
