The role involves crisis response, referrals, and collaboration with campus partners to support student success. Qualifications include a Master’s in Counseling, licensure as a MO mental health provider (LPC or LCSW), and at least one year of supervised experience.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Counseling or related area.
• At least one year of supervised professional experience.
• Current licensure as a mental health provider in Missouri.
• Desirable training/interest in working with college students to promote success.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct psychological counseling to students (short-term and limited longer-term).
• Deliver crisis interventions and referrals to campus/community partners.
• Collaborate with campus colleagues to promote student success and retention.
• Conduct training, outreach, and educational workshops for students, faculty, and staff.
• Maintain clinical records and treatment plans; ensure confidentiality.
• Assess mental health needs, implement treatment plans, and monitor progress.
• Respond to student crises; may serve on-call as needed.
• Participate in campus/college meetings and relevant activities.
