Job summary

Hudson County Community College is seeking an Athletics Event Staff member for on-site, part-time work in Jersey City. You will support event operations across scoreboard, clock, scorekeeping, camera and announcer duties, along with concessions, ticketing and setup/breakdown tasks.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and at least 1 year of sports or event-day operations experience, with a broad knowledge of intercollegiate athletics operations.

Qualifications

• 1 year experience playing a sport or working within event or game day operations.
• General knowledge of intercollegiate athletics operations.

Responsibilities

• Represent Hudson County Community College Athletics in a professional and ethical manner at all times.
• Perform duties during athletics events which could include scoreboard, clock, official scorekeeping, camera operations, announcing, concessions, apparel sales, ticket operations, statistical record keeping, laundry, equipment operations, or setup/breakdown.
